George (Rock) Pring was a founder of CCLC in 1986 and served as its President from 1986-2009. He is a University of Denver Professor of Law Emeritus, and still researches, publishes, and consults in Environmental and International Law. He and his wife Kitty Pring are Co-Directors of the DU Environmental Courts and Tribunals Study and have authored two leading books on this exploding phenomenon which has them advising all over the world.
He has worked in a national law firm for government and development interests, served as Chief of Environmental Litigation for Ohio, and established the Environmental Defense Fund office here in the Rocky Mountain-Great Plains region.
Rock now focuses on the CCLC work he loves best – advising property owners on land preservation and drafting the Conservation Easements that protect our Canyon country for all time. More about Rock here.
