Michelle Poolet is a newcomer to CCLC, but not to the world of volunteerism or land conservation nonprofits. She has been on the Board of PLAN Jeffco since 2008, and in that time has worked hard to ensure the success of various PJ conferences, events and initiatives. Part of her strategy to better understand land conservation in Jefferson County is to liaise with the Jeffco Open Space Advisory Committee (OSAC). Michelle is also President of C.A.R.E. (Canyon Area Residents for the Environment), VP of her local neighborhood association, and a member of Rocky Mountain Collie-Sheltie Rescue. Her “day job” is President and Chief Enterprise Architect of Mount Vernon Data Systems, a BBB A+ accredited database consulting company. Michelle lives on Lookout Mountain, in unincorporated JeffCo, with her best pal, Tessa Rose the collie, with whom she enjoys daily trekking in the forests.
